Rand Paul Joins Klayman in Fight Against NSA and Obama Administration

(WND) — The battle against the National Security Agency’s monitoring of citizens’ telephone-call data surged to a new level today with word that Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., will join the campaign that until now has been led by attorney Larry Klayman, founder of Freedom Watch.

Klayman’s class-action legal challenge to NSA spy operations last month won a favorable ruling from a federal judge, who said it likely is unconstitutional, prompting an Obama administration appeal.

According to The Hill, Paul will file a class-action lawsuit against the NSA after recruiting thousands of people to be plaintiffs.

Although Paul has talked about his plans for several weeks, it was Breitbart News that reported today the action would come soon.

The action is to be brought by Paul as a citizen, not as a senator, and apparently will charge that the surveillance program the NSA uses to gather metadata on U.S. citizens violates the Fourth Amendment.

The senator’s campaign website was used to recruit names, a move set up after Paul suggested months ago he could force the government to change its strategies if he could get 10 million Americans to protest.

In a commentary for WND, Klayman welcomed Paul’s influence to the fight.

“I invite Sen. Paul to join our ongoing class actions, as they have already proven to be successful in large part – given Judge Leon’s unconstitutionality ruling. The other plaintiffs and I are pleased that Paul also is fighting to slay the NSA express,” Klayman wrote.

“The bottom line is this: I am pleased that the force of our legal actions with regard to the NSA and this huge violation of constitutional rights has finally caused many in the nation to take heed of the strength of our cases. For what is now occurring with this spy agency, and others like the CIA, cannot stand. We the people cannot allow a tyrannical government to run roughshod over our Fourth, First and Fifth Amendment constitutional rights. Our Founding Fathers risked their fortunes and lives to win freedom. We owe it to them to take whatever legal steps we must to preserve this freedom for ourselves, our loved ones, and the country as a whole.”

It was Judge Richard J. Leon, in two class-action cases that Klayman filed last June, who ruled against the NSA.

“I hereby give the government fair notice that should my ruling be upheld, this order will go into effect forthwith,” the judge wrote. “Accordingly, I fully expect that during the appellate process, which will consume at least the next six months, the government will take whatever steps necessary to prepare itself to comply with this order when, and if, it is upheld. Suffice it to say, requesting further time to comply with this order months from now will not be well received and could result in collateral sanctions.”

He said the practice likely is unconstitutional, calling it “Orwellian.”

Today, after being prompted by Klayman, the federal government filed a notice of appeal of the case.

Klayman had written to Leon asking for a status conference, saying “it appears that the Obama Justice Department is hanging back to delay implementation of the court’s preliminary injunction order – as it likely intends to ‘stretch’ out the appellate process.”

He had argued that it would be prudent to discuss “the procedure and timing for this case to move forward through discovery while the NSA defendant pursues any appeal of the court’s stayed preliminary injunction order.”

In a separate strategy move, the Obama administration also went to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, a special court that oversees secret government operations, and obtained permission for the NSA to “keep collecting every American’s telephone records every day,” despite the ruling in Klayman’s case.

Klayman told WND the special court “jumps at the Obama administration’s requests” and is “a national disgrace.”

He said he will fight the ongoing collection however he can.

“It’s why the American people, frankly, are in a state of revolution,” he said.

After Leon’s decision in Klayman’s case, District Judge William Pauley in Washington said in a separate case, brought by the ACLU, he thinks the NSA program is legal, setting up the type of conflict that frequently needs to be resolved by a superior court.

At the time, Klayman said: “What’s most dangerous about what is going on is the fact that every time someone picks up their phone, or sends an email, or goes to social media like Facebook, or uses Skype, they now know that the government is watching. And this keeps us from being critical of the government. … And that’s not just un-American, it’s like the former Soviet Union or China.”

He continued: “If our Founding Fathers had lived in these times, and if King George III had had an NSA with that kind of technological capability, the Founding Fathers would have been picked up, arrested and executed before they ever got to Philadelphia to sign the Declaration of Independence.

“We live in what the judge said, and I used the term, too, when I appeared in front of him, an Orwellian state.”

Klayman said the fight is about more than just government spying.

“Unfortunately, the current government no longer represents the people of this country. Judge Pauley is rubberstamping total government power. The reality is that the legislative and executive branches of government created this constitutional crisis with the NSA which is now spiraling out of control. Judge Leon rightfully called the NSA’s program ‘almost-Orwellian technology.’”

Klayman said: “Legitimate spying on terrorism does not trump respecting the civil liberties and freedom of the American people, as Judge Pauley ruled on page 52 of his decision. The rights of the American people consistent with our Constitution cannot be left at the hands of the other two branches. This is a formula for revolution as the government should not have an absolute right to intercept everything.”

(WND) — Under the guise of journalism, the Obama administration’s low-class mouthpieces over at CNN invited me for a “discussion” about my recent victory over the NSA’s secret and illegal spy program. In typical leftist-ese, it was a hit piece designed to attack my character and reputation, an outrageous attempt to try to cut me down to size because I have opposed President Barack Hussein Obama and his administration and now clearly am a huge threat to his continuation in office.

After a federal judge’s scathing ruling against the NSA, I accepted an interview proposal from Don Lemon on CNN. My appearance Tuesday night was preceded by a profile of me that included disparaging remarks from Bradley Blakeman, the lead-in to Lemon’s hit piece and someone I was forced to sue for improperly using Freedom Watch’s name and forming another group not coincidentally named “Freedom’s Watch” – a front public interest group set up for Sheldon Adelson to run interference for George W. Bush and David Petraeus during the Iraq war to try and sell the “surge.” Not surprisingly, the group shut down after Bush left office, and Blakeman, while a self-proclaimed strategist for MSNBC and CNN, now works with Al Jazeera, the network born out of love and respect for Shariah Law, which obtained and aired tapes from terrorists, including Osama bin Laden, while protecting their whereabouts.

After the misleading introduction, I naturally fired back at my antagonists, saying, “I think it is important to note that you’re a big supporter of Obama. … You have favored him in every respect. You have to try to do a hit piece to diminish a very important decision.” Don Lemon, while interjecting throughout the interview claiming that only he knows his political affiliation, shot his racist mouth off in October 2013: “I say the [Republican] party dominated by aging white Americans and some very vocal bigots, the Republican Party no longer represents the changing demographics in this country. … Republican Party, wake up before it is too late. … Stop drinking the hater-aid,” Lemon concluded. “It is leaving a bad taste in your mouths and the majority of America is recoiling from your bad breath.”

Lemon threatened to turn my microphone off and get me removed from the television screen (and then did) when I responded to his insults. Characteristically, legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin chimed in, calling me a “lunatic,” belittled my intelligence and then disrespected the federal judge’s ruling by alleging that the “case is based on [my] tinfoil hat paranoia about the NSA.” Interestingly, Toobin’s wife for several years held an executive position at Verizon, the company that was just enjoined by the court and successfully sued by me. In fact, on June 10, 2013, Toobin wrote for the New Yorker: “These were legally authorized programs; in the case of Verizon’s Business’ phone records, Snowden certainly knew this, because he leaked the very court order that approved the continuation of the project. So he wasn’t blowing the whistle on anything illegal; he was exposing something that failed to meet his own standards of propriety.” Naturally, Toobin’s wife must have been pleased by his “loyalty.” Perhaps here Toobin attempted to make up for his disgrace after it was discovered he had an ongoing extra-marital affair with a colleague’s daughter. And from a journalistic ethics point of view, Toobin should have disclosed his wife’s association with Verizon, particularly since she probably has a Verizon pension or holds stock or options.

I am disappointed in CNN, which treated me with respect in the past. Don Lemon is a leftist hack. Not only has he attacked Republicans and conservatives, but he has also played the race card on a number of occasions. He and his ultra-leftist colleague, Jeffrey Toobin, who had the high class to impregnate the daughter of CBS’ Jeff Greenfield while he was married, should also not be throwing stones. And his fellow proponent, Blakeman, is clearly nothing more than a two-faced sell-out who aids the Islamists at Al Jazeera. Their lack of journalistic ethics should be rewarded by CNN with their firing, just as Martin Bashir was recently fired by MSNBC.

I find it outrageous that instead of celebrating a victory for the U.S. Constitution and the American people, Lemon and his hoodrats spent almost 10 minutes trying to assassinate me personally, denied me freedom of speech by cutting my mic and removing me from the television screen, and then, instead of arguing the case, claimed I made it all about me when the hit piece was indeed named “Who is Larry Klayman?” It is classic leftist deceit and dishonesty. CNN must now restore its image. It too, along with the public, was disgraced by Lemon and Toobin.

THE DECLARATION OF WE THE PEOPLE: INDEPENDENCE DAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2013

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. 1. The National Security Agency’s (NSA) over-broad and unconstitutional spying on American citizens needs to be curtailed and limited to those who are legitimately related to terrorism, terrorist acts, or those who are or could be linked to breaches of national security.
   
2. The rules of engagement, which favor Muslim jihadists, must be changed in order to preserve the lives of American military units.
   
3. The attempt at socializing the United States of America by enacting the unconstitutional health care plan Obamacare must be blocked, and Obamacare as it stands must be repealed.
   
4. The current administration must agree to significantly lower taxes for all U.S. citizens.
   
5. The Internal Revenue Service must be abolished entirely leaving in place only a reasonable consumption or flat tax.
   
6. Immigration reform is critical to our nation’s survival. We must seal the borders and not allow any illegal immigrants into the country. We must come up with a plan that does not involve amnesty.
   
7. The budget deficit must be significantly reduced.
   
8. The president must submit himself to examination and appear in front of a citizens’ grand jury to answer questions under oath regarding his illegal, treasonous and impeachable actions during his presidency.
   
9. The president must provide a physical, original copy of his birth certificate to We the People and submit himself to the scrutiny of qualified forensic experts.
   
10. The United States must not push for a Palestinian State on the West Bank.
    
11. The United States must support the Egyptian military and rid all Muslim Brotherhood ties.
    
12. The United States of America must support Israel in a pre-emptive strike against the Islamic Republic of Iran to destroy its nuclear facilities.
    
13. Pledge that our Second Amendment rights to bear arms will never be abridged and that our weapons of self-defense will never be confiscated.
    

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury and blatant lies. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Now have We been wanting in attentions to our current president. We have warned him and his administration from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We the People, therefore, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; free from the tyranny of President Barack Hussein Obama and his compromised and corrupt Democrat and Republican Party enablers in Congress and the courts, that they are Abolished from all Allegiance to the current government’s regime, and that all political connection between them and the current government, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, We the People have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. I would say this is a pretty succinct declaration of just how far the federal government, our creature, has strayed from the bonds we shackled it with. I find Klayman’s points legitimate and rational and in the spirit of our Founders.

Conservatives: The 2nd Revolution Begins November 19!

[H/T Western Journalism]: A coalition of patriotic Americans are planning to converge on Washington, D.C. next month in a concerted effort to clean up the messes created by our current crop of leaders. According to Larry Klayman, who is organizing the Nov. 19 event, the desired result will include the resignations of several high-profile politicians.

Klayman, the founder of Freedom Watch and a man often credited with inspiring the Tea Party movement, wants to see millions of disgruntled citizens show up for a daylong rally, followed by a camp-out in Lafayette Park until the concerns are addressed.

According to an agenda of the event, known as “Reclaim American Now,” Klayman wants “all patriotic citizens” to show up “and demand the resignations of President Barack Hussein Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and House Speaker John Boehner.”

Klayman will kick off the event with an introduction around 10 a.m. at Lafayette Park, during which he will address many of the concerns conservatives have regarding the future of our nation.

“Barack Hussein Obama has driven our country into the ground and the political opposition has allowed this to happen,” he explained in the agenda. “The nation is on the verge of economic, social, and strategic collapse, as the people’s grievances are being continually ignored.”

In response to the dismissive treatment Americans have received from leaders in D.C., Klayman is calling for “civil disobedience in the style of Mahatma Gandhi in India and South Africa,” which he said “must be employed urgently before the nation goes under for the count.”

Nonviolent solutions are the answer, he explained, noting that “we hope to avoid” an armed revolution.

Driving home the message will be a number of “victims of President Obama’s administration,” each of whom will share their unique stories at the event.

Earline Davis, a bright, young, sincere and respectful Obamacare telephone operator who was interviewed on radio by Sean Hannity of Fox News over the complete non-functionality of the now-infamous Obamacare Healthcare Marketplace Call Center was fired for speaking the truth. If indeed this innocent woman can pay a price for her benign honesty, then why should the president of the United States not also pay a price with his job for his continued deceit, dishonesty, pettiness, ruthless vindictiveness and homicidal actions and tendencies toward the American people?

Leftist political commentators like NBC’s Andrea Mitchell and sister network MSNBC’s Martin Bashir, Lawrence O’Donnell and a host of others in the last few weeks have excoriated me for announcing at the Million Veterans March on Oct. 13 that President Barack Hussein Obama “bows down to allah” and that he “should put the Quran down, get up off his knees and come out [of the White House] with his hands up.” Notwithstanding these demonstrable metaphoric truths that Obama does favor Muslim interests over Judeo-Christian and American ones, the “Mullah In Chief” has committed so many other abuses in office that the time has come for him to be railroaded, peacefully and non-violently, out of town and removed from office.

The latest outrage, the firing of Earline Davis for simply speaking the truth about the Obamacare website with Sean Hannity – who admirably and compassionately pledged to pay Ms. Davis’ salary for a year and to help find her a new job – is just the latest in a series of the “injuries and usurpations” of this modern-day tyrant. As Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, “… when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their [the people’s] right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security … [t]o prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.”

So it is too with Obama and his ultra-leftist government agents who have done all they can to dismantle the nation and remold it in his socialist concept of body politic, believing that We the People lack the focus or resolve, 237 years after our first Declaration of Independence, to again rise up and remove them.

Consider these “Facts” requiring immediate action:

1. Obama is not a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution eligible to run for and be elected president of the United States. Having lied about his place of birth, which was likely Kenya and not within the borders of territories of the United States, and not having two parents who were American citizens at the time of his birth, he later, after years of demands by concerned citizens, produced on the White House website a fraudulent birth certificate to try to subterfuge his deceit. Despite election law complaints in various states to prove that Obama is not a natural born citizen, the courts, as has become the norm, have thus far turned a blind eye, obviously out of fear of the tyrant. Not one court has legitimately addressed the law, and We the People have been abandoned by our judges, who have generally become highly politicized and corrupt.
2. The growing list of what the tyrant calls his “phony scandals,” from Benghazi-gate, Navy SEAL-gate, IRS-gate, NSA-gate, to Fast and Furious-gate and now Obamacare-gate, has been swept under the carpet by Obama and his pliant and highly corrupt attorney general, Eric Holder. Congress, while holding hearings on these scandals, lacks the courage or will to seek justice and to impeach and convict Obama.
3. Obama and his minions continue to leak highly classified and damaging national security information, such as American cyber-warfare and U.S. Israeli war plans should Iran’s nuclear facilities need to be destroyed, as low-level whistleblowers like Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning are burned at the legal stake. Obama and the likes of Hillary Clinton have damaged U.S. national security far worse than Snowden or Manning, yet they walk off scot-free.
4. Benefits to our military veterans and access to war memorials can be shut down under the guise of national debt issues, but Obama, members of Congress and other so-called government leaders continued to receive their “perks” without interruption.
5. The recent killing of a mother who, due to her postpartum depression, drove her car into the White House gates, was unnecessary and murderous, just as the Obama administration’s release of the identity of Navy SEAL Team VI following the killing of Osama bin Laden led to their death at the hands of the Taliban in a shoot-down of their helicopter on Aug. 6, 2011, in a raid called Extortion 17.

The long list of repeated injuries and usurpations is too long to put in this column, but I am preparing a new Declaration of Independence to present and “declare” at the White House gates on Tuesday, Nov. 19, when Obama’s resignation is demanded by the millions who we hope to have present that day.

Obama Impeachment Movement: November 19th, 2013 Larry Klayman’s Call for Americans to ‘Descend on Washington, D.C.’ and Demand ‘He Leave Town and Resign from Office’

In the wake of bikers roaring through the streets of Washington DC in protest [Sep 11] and a planned shut down of DC by truckers [Oct 11-13], founder of Judicial Watch Larry Klayman has chosen the date of November 19, 2013 for Americans to “descend on Washington, D.C.’, and ‘demand that he leave town and resign from office if he does not want to face prison time’ for pushing ‘his Muslim, socialist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-white, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-radical gay and lesbian agenda.’

Klayman is an attorney who has brought numerous cases against Barack Obama concerning his eligibility to hold the office of President of the United States.  He has also mused about a military coup to oust Barack Obama following the Egyptian uprising that ousted former Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi earlier this year.

Larry Klayman claims that Obama, “like Morsi before his downfall,” is “pushing the American people to the limit” and “playing with fire among the military.”

Only time will tell if Klayman gets any momentum, but CA will be doing everything in our power to support the effort.

Renew America reported: Last Wednesday, the great usurper, Barack Hussein Obama, after having been indicted by an Ocala, Florida citizens’ grand jury, was convicted by a people’s court of defrauding the American people and Floridians by proffering them with a fake birth certificate. As readers of this column and www.wnd.com know too well, Obama is not a natural born citizen eligible to be president of the United States, as he was not born in this country to two American citizen parents. However, to justify his fraud and his elections to the highest office in the land, and after years of inquiry, in 2011 the Obama White House posted on its website a birth certificate purporting to show him having been born in Hawaii. The problem is however, according to forensic experts, the birth certificate is altered and forged.

The day of reckoning has come. Obama, having failed to plead in response to the indictment that was served upon him, waived his right to a jury trial. Thumbing his nose at We the People, as the citizens’ prosecutor, I appeared before a citizens’ court judge and presented evidence from Cold Case Posse investigator Michael Zullo showing that Obama tricked voters into electing him in 2008 and 2012. As a result, the citizens’ judge found him guilty on two counts of falsifying information to federal and state election officials. He was thus sentenced to the maximum prison term for these offenses of 10 years, and ordered to immediately surrender himself into the custody of the citizens of the United States and Florida.

Of course, Obama will not willingly obey the law of the people. He will attempt to hide behind the iron fences of the White House, perhaps cowering under his desk for fear that the people will rise up and demand his ouster.

On November 19, 2013, a day that will hopefully live on in the history of our once great republic, I call upon millions of Americans who have been appalled and disgusted by Obama’s criminality – his Muslim, socialist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-white, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-radical gay and lesbian agenda – among other outrages, to descend on Washington, D.C., en masse, and demand that he leave town and resign from office if he does not want to face prison time.

I further propose that we borrow the techniques perfected and used by such epic crusaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, to show Obama and his enablers that the American people are more than fed up and will not take it any more. The millions who are being summoned to our nation’s capital should, like Gandhi did in India and South Africa, peacefully shut the city down, by blocking roads and massing in front of the White House chanting for Obama to get out of our nation’s capital. In addition, I propose bringing the victims of his reign of terror to a podium across from the White House in Lafayette Park to give their testimony on how he has singularly severely harmed and in some instances even killed their loved ones through his actions.

In the words of Thomas Paine in the days leading up to the first American Revolution, “these are the times that try men’s souls.” The nation under Obama and even his inert and castrated political opponents, the Republican Party, have driven our country into the bowels of impending doom. The moral and ethical fabric, our economic underpinnings, and our national confidence and prestige are in the tank. Russia has become the leading world power, however evil and compromised under its communist KGB leader Vladimir Putin. The United States is a mere shell of its prior self under real modern leaders like Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan, to name just a few.

We must act now. Our Founding Fathers pledged their sacred honor, fortunes, and lives to form a new nation under God. They knew that the odds of defeating the British were not great, save for His Divine grace and intervention. Now, 237 years after they signed the Declaration of Independence in my native city of Philadelphia, the nation has come full circle to the tyranny that has been imposed by a new despot, one far more evil than King George III. King George III may have been a greedy “control freak,” but at least he was a Christian. The United States is being run by a Muslim bent on furthering an Islamic caliphate who seeks to destroy our spirituality and the body politic of our Judeo-Christian roots.

Life is not easy. It requires risk and sacrifice. If as a nation we want to restore our freedom, and we are on the verge of being enslaved under Obama’s socialist Muslim inclinations, we must take our fight to a new level. Tea partiers, bikers, construction workers, police officers, school teachers, farmers, truckers, clergy, housewives, husbands, students, doctors, lawyers and all elements of our society who see our nation slipping away into the abyss, must now stand tall and descend on the capital, much like the Egyptians recently did in ousting another radical Muslim, their then president Mohammed Morsi. If the Egyptians can seek to rid their country of the poison of the Muslim Brotherhood without any real history of democracy, then we Americans, who know what democracy is and have practiced it prior to the ascension of the great usurper, can and must succeed.

Obama has now been convicted of having defrauded the American people into electing him as president. Even more so than Nixon during Watergate, he has no legitimacy to remain president and must be forced to resign. If We the People do not demand justice and remove him from office, then we will be furthering his fraud and we will have no one but ourselves to blame for the death of the greatest nation ever to have been on this earth.

In the words of one of our great Founding Fathers and an architect of our Constitution, “we must, indeed, all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.” Benjamin Franklin walked the walk along with the likes of George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson. Let us now walk in their footsteps and march into to Washington, D.C., this November 19th, and rid the nation of the criminal who lurks in our White House. Let us send a message to the other corrupt government officials of all political persuasions, that this is our nation, not theirs. Let’s “Occupy Washington” and restore freedom to our shores!

Larry Klayman: ‘This Government, Under Obama, Is Seeking To Enslave Us’

Larry Klayman has been outspoken and given his fair share of warnings, that armed rebellion might be necessary to fight Barack Obama’s efforts to enslave the American people.

‘It’s not a new phenomenon that Obama’s taken it to a much higher level he’s now included the entire American populace all the citizens of this country are under surveillance.’

‘Now what does this guy have in mind?’ 

‘This government, under Obama, is seeking to enslave us, to make us as prisoners and if we complain the warning is: you’ll be destroyed. This is our opportunity to peacefully legally wage a second American revolution. Our country’s been taken from us. We don’t have it anymore. We don’t have the freedoms the John Adams and Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin and others fought for, they’ve been removed and this is the chance the peacefully use the courts to try and take the country back.’

‘Now if these judges who were appointed here in Washington, federal judges, don’t follow the law then we’re back to 1776, God forbid. But that’s where we’re being pushed, the American people are being pushed up against the wall and unless our institutions our judicial institution, start working and representing the American people, there’s going to be catastrophe in this country, I don’t want to see it but that’s what’s gonna happen.’
