Islam in a Public School: A Parent’s Story of Indoctrination

(WND) — Not long after I published my recent article, “The Islamization of America in 2013,” I received this extraordinary letter from a parent, detailing just how far the Islamization of at least some of our public schools has advanced:

I just read your recent article on Breitbart, “The Islamization of America in 2013,” and wanted to tell you of a personal story that happened in my life.

I live in a very, very conservative area of my state. While my state is very liberal these days, there are little pockets of red. My daughter attends a brand new charter school in a highly rated conservative school district. The curriculum is Core Knowledge (J. Hirsh), along with some other types, such as Singapore Math.

Last December, I picked up my daughter, who is in fourth grade, from school. As soon as she got in the car, she proclaimed, “Allah is great,” and then said it in Arabic. I was so taken back, I am not sure how I drove home in one piece. My daughter told me that in their social studies class, they had begun a new unit on Islam. Their previous unit was the Middle Ages, in which they were learning about castles, kings and queens, and even about the Plague. That unit was completely fine, but when I learned they were learning about Islam and were being told that Allah is great and that Muhammad was his prophet sent to Earth, I got really angry, as did my husband. Actually, I was beyond angry. I was so infuriated, I was shaking.

In Core Knowledge, there is a parent book that provides an overview of what the kids will be learning, per grade and per subject. I looked at the book and read the rather large section on Islam, and was further infuriated. They were literally indoctrinating the kids with a message of how wonderful Islam is, how Allah is great, and how the big, bad Christians murdered thousands of them (without an account of what really happened in history). This video shows the parent book that is supposed to follow along with the curriculum: “Uneven Treatment of Islam and Christianity in Core Knowledge Sequence.”

The next day, my daughter brought home a homework assignment. That night, my husband wrote a note and attached it to the worksheet, and said that our daughter would NOT be filling it out, and she must not receive a bad grade for not doing it. We then wrote a long email to her vice principal and pulled her out of that class until the unit was done. I made it very clear why we were pulling her out of the class and went into detail on how vile and perverted the religion of Islam is, and how disgusting it was that it was being taught in a public school. I further informed them that what they were doing was indoctrinating, rather than giving a full picture on what Islam entails.

Luckily, a few other parents and I were able to pull our kids out, and they studied a different topic during that time – and received an A for the unit. It all happened without any pushback from the school. I know that we were very, very lucky.

A parent at the school started a Facebook group for all the parents so we could chat about school stuff. It is not school-sponsored. When this Islam unit happened, another parent made a post in the group protesting the fact that Islam was being taught. She and I and a few other parents all gave our thoughts on the matter. The interesting part is that the majority of parents who responded to this post made us out to be crazy and ignorant. They were happy that Islam was being taught, because they wanted their kids to be cultured and learn about other ways of life that they normally would not learn about in our super conservative town. When they were informed of how Islam is not the religion of peace that it was being made out to be in the classes, there was silence. No response at all.

I was completely taken aback, not only because the truth of Islam was not even being taught, but because the parents were so incredibly ignorant about the truth of Islam. Had they never heard of any stories about the things you discussed in your recent article? Had they not heard about little Malala? Did they not remember or know anything about 9/11? The Boston bombers? And the list goes on.

This school is filled with kids who come from conservative homes. I would bet that the demographics would show most to be “Christian,” anti-Obama Republicans. The financial demographics of my area and the school would be upper class and highly educated. Certainly not a bunch of tree-hugging liberals.

It seems that a huge HUGE segment of America is truly naïve on what Islam is all about and feel that it should be treated just like any other religion. It is cool and trendy to be tolerant of Islam. This is what our media, our president and our schools are teaching, and Americans are blindly following along!

This parent was aware and active. But most aren’t – and they have no idea that their children are being quietly indoctrinated into having a positive view of the most violent, oppressive, misogynist ideology on the planet today. I wrote the book “Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance” for exactly this reason. Each individual must fight back, the book teaches you how. Obama Plays Race Card: ‘There’s No Doubt Some Folks Dislike Me’ Because I’m Black

Personally, I think we don’t like you because you are a dishonest, deceitful, two-faced, double-dealing, socialist, Marxist, scoundrel.

On Sunday, The New Yorker released an interview with President Barack Obama in which the president stated that his approval ratings had been suppressed due to racism. “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama stated. “Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president.”

(Bloomberg) — President Barack Obama said that racial tensions may have softened his popularity among white voters within the last two years, according to a story posted on the New Yorker magazine’s website today.

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said in the article by David Remnick, appearing in the magazine’s Jan. 27 edition.

“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,” Obama said in his most direct comments on how race has affected his political standing since he’s been in office.

Obama’s second term has been marked by controversies including a partial government shutdown in October, revelations that the National Security Agency has gathered personal mobile phone data and the troubled rollout of health-insurance expansion.

Obama’s approval rating among all voters is 39 percent and his disapproval rating is 53 percent, according to a Gallup Poll conducted Jan. 14-16. In the 2012 presidential election, Republican candidate Mitt Romney won 59 percent of the white vote, compared with Obama’s 39 percent, according to exit polling by a consortium of major news outlets. Obama won 43 percent of the white vote in 2008 against 55 percent for opponent John McCain, a Republican senator fromArizona.

Obamacare Blamed

“Poll after poll makes it very clear that Obamacare and other job-killing policies are the reason” for the president’s decline in popularity, Republican National Committee spokesman Sean Spicer said in a phone interview today.

Obama offered reflections on a variety of subjects in the New Yorker story, including his view about the dangers of playing professional football, which has been the subject of media scrutiny over players’ head injuries.

“I would not let my son play pro football,” the article quotes Obama, the father of two daughters, as saying. When asked by Remnick how those dangers squared with his enjoyment of the game as a spectator, Obama said professional players are aware of the inherent risk in playing a full-contact sport.

Like Smokers

“They know what they’re buying into,” Obama said. “It is no longer a secret. It’s sort of the feeling I have about smokers, you know?”

Obama acknowledged that reports of U.S. surveillance programs, including allegations that the government tapped German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s mobile phone, had created a “breach of trust,” Remnick reported.

Obama said he also assumes others are trying to spy on him, and for this reason he doesn’t have a phone, according to The New Yorker.

He said, “there are European governments that we know spy on us, and there is a little bit of Claude Rains in ‘Casablanca’ — shocked that gambling is going on,” the magazine quoted him as saying, referring to the actor who played the police captain in the 1942 movie.

Veterans Backlash Against Obama – We’ve Had Enough!

(Freedom Outpost) — I said in my last article that I do not endorse the use of violence to take our country back. This is the only way I can think of that will make the corrupt liars who occupy Washington D.C. listen- by voting them out of office. I will quote our president now and say, “Voting is the best revenge!”

URGENT! A movement has been started by our armed forces, to get out the vote in 2014. They are organizing themselves, but this can be done by all of us. The President, the Commander-in-Chief, has made the Rules of Engagement (ROE) so difficult, that our troops are often killed before they can even get permission to fight.

Nothing has been done to stop our troops from being murdered by Afghanis they are training, either. Now, the President wants the US to sign on to the UNs International Criminal Court (ICC), which would allow the UNs ICC to arrest and try US troops for War Crimes, without the legal protections guaranteed under US Law, and from which there is no appeal. The President, with his Democratic control of the Senate, has nearly all the power. If the Non-Establishment Republicans and Conservatives can take back the Senate in 2014, our troops can once again be protected from unnecessary danger. Interestingly enough, when George W. Bush was president, you heard about the military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan almost daily. With Obama in the White House, the mainstream media has been strangely quiet.

More than 1,000 American soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan in the last 27 months. This is more than the combined total of the nine (9) years before. Thirty have died in August. During the last month, over 50 additional NATO and US servicemen have been murdered, inside jobs by those who are hired to be a force for good in Afghanistan.
The Commander-in-chief is AWOL. Not a peep, although he ordered the White House flag flown at half-staff for the Sikhs that were killed. There is a deep disgust, a fury, growing in the ranks of the military against the indifferent incompetence of this president.

It has taken on a dangerous tone. No one knows what to do about him, but the anger runs deep as the deaths continue with no strategic end in sight to the idiocy of this war. Obama has had 5 years to end this futile insanity, during which time he has vacationed, golfed, campaigned, and generally ignored the plight of our men and women in uniform. Now, there is a movement afoot in the armed services to launch a massive get out the vote drive against this president.

Not just current active duty types are getting onboard, but the National Guard, Reserves, retired, and all other prior service members. This is no small special interest group, but many millions of veterans who can have an enormous impact on the outcome of the November elections, if they all respond.

The million military retirees in Florida alone could mean an overwhelming victory in that state if they all show up at the polls. It might not keep another one hundred U.S. troops from dying between now and November, but turn out to vote by the military against this heart-breaking lack of leadership can make a powerful statement that hastens a change to the indifference of this shallow little man who just lets our soldiers die.

The White House has said nothing about the guest list or about how many people are expected or about who’s providing the entertainment.

But word has spread that President Barack Obama has told guests to come prepared to dance.

White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett is only saying that “people will move” at the party.

The buzz is that Beyonce (bee-AHN’-say), who’s friendly with the Obamas, will sing. Beyonce’s husband, rapper Jay Z, performed in Washington on Thursday night.

Video: First-Grader Humiliated, Told To Stop Talking About Bible

A 6-year-old girl was humiliated when her teacher cut-off her one-minute oral report in school and told to sit down. And what was the grievous offense she committed? She talked about… the bible!

The teacher from Helen Hunt-Jackson Elementary School in Temecula, Calif. told the first grade class that students are not allowed to talk about the bible in school. 

What’s particularly odd about this is that the assignment was to bring something from home that represented a Christmas tradition of their family. It was a type of holiday show and tell.

Young Brynn Williams had brought a Christmas ornament and shared how it is a family tradition to put the star on top of the family Christmas tree saying, “The star is named the Star of Bethlehem. The three kings followed the star to find baby Jesus, the Savior of the world.”

But when she got to the part of her presentation that required her to quote bible verse, John 3:16, the Grinch of a teacher stopped her and made her take her seat. But all the other students were allowed to finish their talks.

So, it is understandable that 6-year-old Brynn might think she was in trouble since her teacher put her down so abruptly in class. But her mother Gina Williams said she wasn’t in trouble at all. She was proud of her.

So Gina and Brynn went the next day to see the principal, who asked Brynn to give him the same presentation she gave her classmates and he rendered an immediate decision: The teacher was right and Brynn was wrong. And if she wanted to express such religious sentiments, she should do so in a personal journal.

TV celebrity John Scherer is the founder of Video Professor and when personal computers were first introduced to America, it was John’s educational videos that taught our nation how to operate those computers.

Now when John heard about this elementary free speech censorship, he was appalled and issued this statement:

“I worked with schools all over the country and the world and I’ve never heard anything like this! They talk about kids bullying in school. Because the teacher is older, taller and in a position of authority they can stomp on a child’s right of free speech? Christmas is about one thing and only one thing, the birth of Jesus, I’ll say it again: the birth of Jesus. Students were asked to talk about her favorite family tradition but not allowed to talk about the Bible? What a dumb assignment! Can anyone imagine telling your favorite Christmas tradition and not talking about Jesus or mentioning the Bible? Can you imagine how that little girl must have felt when that happened, she did her assignment just as the teacher asked and then was interrupted and told to sit down? God help us all!”

Eric Holder’s Billion Dollar Extortion Scheme

(WND) — Eric Holder’s idea of implementing justice is to shake down banks on trumped up charges based on vague statistics and leftist theories. Holder’s Department of Justice recently leveled a $100 million fine against Ally Bank for “racist” lending practiceswithout a shred of evidence. And Ally’s not the only victim of Obama/Holder Inc.’s protection racket. Apparently, the post-racial presidency of Barack Obama has decided to extort almost a billion dollars from capitalist institutions under the unjustified pretense of ‘race-based’ predatory lending.

The recent settlement made between Ally Bank and the DOJ’s Orwellian namedConsumer Financial Protection Bureau is one of many that has led to over $810 million in fines and penalties. In almost all 30 cases, the Feds ran a protection scheme against companies by accusing them of race-based lending practices. Why exactly would the banks pay the fines when the Feds are unable to provide evidence backing their allegations? Well… After paying a fine, everything goes away before charges of racism are leveled in a very public three-ring-circus of a trial. If it sounds an awful lot like a protection racket… That’s because it kinda is…

The charges facing Ally Bank? According to the Justice Department, and the CFPB, Ally Bank “charged African-American borrowers more than white borrowers in interest-rate markups not based on creditworthiness or other objective criteria related to borrower risk.”

But the allegations were somewhat dubious, given the fact that neither the DOJ, nor the CFPB, actually had access to the race, credit worthiness, or risk assessments of any of the bank’s customers. Apparently the government used “statistical analysis” based on geography and census data to determine that “racist” lending practices had occurred.

Not a single credit score was reviewed by the DOJ. Not a single borrower’s debt to income ratio was investigated. Not a single ethnicity was verified by the Feds. The $100 million fine was, instead, based off of a rather racist assumption that the borrowers in certain geographical locations were receiving higher interest loans because of their (assumed) skin color.

Welcome to Barack Obama’s “post-racial” America.

According to Eric Holder’s politically corrupt Department of Injustice, roughly 100,000 African Americans were “disparately” impacted by Ally’s lending practices. Of course this number is based off of statistical analysis, and not what a jury or judge would consider “evidence.” It’s not even clear that the authorities had any firsthand accounts of discrimination.

But why let a little thing like due process, common law, and Constitutional restraints prohibit a little extortion racket? I mean, heck, banks will pay multi-million dollar fines to keep from having a story about supposed racism plastered all over the NY Times. Making threats of negative publicity, it would seem, is more important to Holder than actually gathering proof of wrong-doing.

The theory of “disparate impact” is the theory that racist outcomes (even if they are purely the result of color blind policies, and racially neutral practices) should be punished. This, of course, means that a business that decides to treat all customers by equal and open guidelines might be in danger of facing a DOJ fine if their African American borrowers happen to have poor credit, or high debt to income ratios. The theory helped lead the mortgage industry down the road of sub-prime loans, and helped the government regulate banks into unsustainable business models… All in the name of “racial equality.” Because, obviously, “racial equality” means treating minorities by standards that differ from everyone else. (I guess Democrats have never really let go of that whole “separate but equal” mentality.)

Of course, even by the standards of “disparate impact”, the DOJ was less than justified in their fines. Pursuing millions billions in fines based off of vague statistics and racist theories is not justice. Of course, then again, we are talking about a “Justice” Department that recently found nothing wrong with the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups. This is the same “Justice” Department that ran guns to Mexico, while simultaneously pushing for increased ATF stings on American citizens. This is the same “Justice” Department that looked the other way when Black Panther members intimidated voters.

Welcome to the “hope and change” Obama promised us: A world where tax collectors hassle political dissidents, law enforcement agencies run protection schemes on successful businesses, and the needy in America are left to feed off the handouts of an increasingly bankrupt entitlement system. But, yeah… I guess Ally deserves to pay $100 million for their risk-based loan rates. That’s sure to help rebuild America’s prosperity. Right?

Congress Is Now Mostly A Millionaires’ Club: For the First Time, More Than Half of Congressional Lawmakers are Worth at Least $1 million

(Time) — Congress is loaded, if you weren’t already aware.

The Center for Responsive Politics analyzed the personal financial disclosure data from 2012 of the 534 current members of Congress and found that, for the first time, more than half had an average net worth of $1 million or more: 268 to be exact, up from 257 the year earlier. The median for congressional Democrats was $1.04 million and, for Republicans, $1 million even.

To calculate the net worth of lawmakers, the Center added together members’ significant assets, such as corporate bonds and stocks, then subtracted major liabilities such as loans, credit card debt and property mortgages.

Here’s the breakdown: the median net worth for all House members was $896,000 (Democrats averaged $929,000 to Republicans’ $884,000) and, for Senators, $2.5 million. The median net worth for Senate Democrats was $1.7 million, down from $2.4 million in 2011; for Republicans: $2.9 million, up from $2.5 million in 2011.

Richest and Poorest Members

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee who made his millions in the car alarm business, was the richest lawmaker in Congress with an average net worth of $464 million in 2012.

The least-wealthy member was Rep. David Valadao (R-Calif.), who reported an average net worth of negative $12.1 million. Valadao is in the red, the Center found, due to loans for his family’s dairy farm.

Who’s Investing In What

The group also analyzed the members’ investments. General Electric was the most popular holding; the minimum Democratic investment was $927,777 and the smallest Republican investment was $2,130,657. The top five rounded out with Wells Fargo, Microsoft Corp., Procter & Gamble, and Apple Inc.

Hillary Clinton: See Who Made The ‘Hit List’

The Clinton’s are no stranger to ‘lists.’ Between Bill and Hillary, they have compiled at least 47 infelicitous deaths and all, were associated with the Clintons.

Do you want to know who’s on Hillary’s hit list?

The new book, “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton,” by The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Politico’s Jonathan Allen, spills which political figures made Hillary’s hit list.

According to the authors, Hillary and Bill Clinton have been keeping a database of people who’ve crossed them throughout their political careers. The book alleges most of the people on Hillary’s “hit list” crossed her during run for president in 2008.

“As one of the last orders of business for a losing campaign, they recorded in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet the names and deeds of members of Congress,” the book notes. “They carefully noted who had endorsed Hillary, who backed Barack Obama, and who stayed on the sidelines—standard operating procedure for any high-end political organization. But the data went into much more nuanced detail.”

Hillary’s campaign also kept record of Democrats who “understandably” didn’t support her because they were African-American. One of Hillary’s campaign staffers who was quoted in the book explained, “[There were] those who understandably didn’t endorse us because they are [Congressional Black Caucus] members or Illinois members.”

The staffer said the hit list would be especially important for Hillary if she won the presidency in 2016—“so that friends could be rewarded and enemies punished.”
