[Watch] 8 Benghazi Questions They Have Never Asked: Rep Trey Gowdy Hammers Press for Their Cavalier Attitude

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R – SC focuses the spotlight on the press for their timidity and lack of efforts in pursuit of the truth regarding the occurrences in Benghazi. He details some questions that the press should know the answers to but do not and likely have never asked:

  1. Why was ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi?
  2. Why were the Americans the last flag flying in Benghazi, after the British had left and the Red Cross had been bombed?
  3. Why were requests for additional security denied?
  4. Why were no assets deployed during the siege?
  5. Do you know whether the president called any of our allies to request help?
  6. Why was Susan Rice picked to go on the Sunday talk shows and present the video story?
  7. Do you know the origin of the “mythology” that the attack was spawned by a video?
  8. Gowdy remarks, “No one has been arrested, no one has been prosecuted, no one has been ‘brought to justice,’ we don’t even have access to the witnesses.”

He makes it clear that this issue is not going to go away and that the press needs to perform their critical function in our government in the responsible manner in which it was created and start holding the administration accountable.

Barrack Show: Did Pickering Spill the Beans on Benghazi?

A plethora of interesting segments from last Thursday’s House Oversight Committee hearing where Rep. Cynthia Lummis unleashed a series of pointed questions at Thomas Pickering, with ‘mixed results.’  Are we getting closer to the truth of Benghazi?

If you’re short on time, begin listening at the 8:10 mark — this will be sure to capture your attention.

Also covered in this show, is the Clinton relationship with prominent Brotherhood leaders, one of which is charged with inciting violence, Gehad el-Haddad.  This is worth the listen.

Walid Shoebat reported: Reps. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), and Jim Jordan (R-OH) may have stolen most of the headlines when it came to the House Oversight Committee hearing on September 19th but the most explosive questions may have come from Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY).

While questioning Ambassador Thomas Pickering, Chairman of the Benghazi Accountability Review Board (ARB), Lummis asked two excellent questions. In answering the first, Pickering appeared to have divulged classified information. In answering the second question, Pickering’s testimony appeared to blatantly contradict the accounts of Benghazi survivors and witnesses.

Be sure to listen because we may have a new development in Benghazi, thanks to Lummis.

As we have reported previously, Pickering was on-hand at the U.S.-Islamic World Forum (US-IWF) this past June. Guess who attended this forum in 2006 with the mother of Huma Abedin, Saleha Abedin. The answer may surprise you.

Speaking of the Abedin’s, there’s an interesting development in Egypt. A man who used to work for the Clintons has been arrested by the new Egyptian government for inciting murder. Gehad el-Haddad was an employee of the William J. Clinton Foundation and then went to Egypt, where he reportedly became the Chief of Staff to a prominent Muslim Brotherhood leader. In fact, Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns met with this leader last month. Are we beginning to see why?

Admiral James Lyons: Benghazi was About a Kidnapping [Christopher Stevens for ‘Blind’ Sheik] Operation Gone Bad

Admiral James ‘Ace’ Lyons is a former high ranking official, a four-star Admiral, who believes that the 9/11/12 attack in Benghazi was possibly a staged kidnapping operation gone awry.

This interview with Lou Dobbs first aired on November 14th, 2012.

Admiral Lyons on September 16th, 2013, confirming his belief at the Heritage Foundation that Benghazi was a plot that went bad.

*Over the next several days, we will be gathering and formulating sources around the Internet in attempt to validate this proclamation made by Admiral Lyons: STAY TUNED.

Morsi Link to Benghazi: Is Morsi Behind The Murder of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens? There’s New Evidence He May Be

WND reports: Was Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood involved in the deadly Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya?

Circumstantial evidence possibly links the attack to Morsi’s campaign to free the so-called blind sheik, Omar Abdel-Rahman, who is serving a life sentence in the U.S. for conspiracy in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Rahman’s release has been one of the Morsi’s main foreign policy issues.

Last week, several major Arabic newspapers ran with a story, first reported by the Kuwaiti paper Al Rai, quoting a Libyan intelligence report on the Benghazi attack that mentions an alleged connection to Morsi and other prominent Egyptian figures.

The report, prepared by Mahmoud Ibrahim Sharif, director of national security for Libya, is based on purported confessions of some of the jihadists arrested at the scene.

The report states that “among the more prominent figures whose names were mentioned by cell members during confessions were: Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi; preacher Safwat Hegazi; Saudi businessman Mansour Kadasa, owner of the satellite station Al-Nas; Egyptian Sheik Muhammad Hassan; former presidential candidate, Hazim Salih Abu Ismail.”

‘Dr. Morsi sent us’

While the credibility of the confessions solicited in Libya, probably under duress, can easily be called into question, there is other information pointing to Morsi’s possible involvement in the Benghazi attack.

YouTube videos of the attack find some of the jihadists speaking an Egyptian dialect of Arabic, as previously reported by FrongPageMag.

One of the videos shows a jihadist carrying out the attack while stating in an Egyptian dialect, “Don’t shoot, don’t shoot, Dr. Morsi sent us.”

MORE BENGHAZI WHISTLEBLOWERS: New Explosive Claims Will be Damning to Obama and Clinton

Benghazi WhistleblowersNew evidence will soon be revealed from new Whistleblowers. The new information includes what Ambassador Chris Stevens was actually doing in Benghazi, as well as the pressure put on General Carter Ham, and why he did not act to protect jeopardized U.S. personnel.  This evidence could prove damning to both Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Fox News reports: According to the diplomats, what these whistleblowers will say will be at least as explosive as what we have already learned about the scandal, including details about what really transpired in Benghazi that are potentially devastating to both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

The former diplomats inform PJM the new revelations concentrate in two areas — what Ambassador Chris Stevens was actually doing in Benghazi and the pressure put on General Carter Ham, then in command of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and therefore responsible for Libya, not to act to protect jeopardized U.S. personnel.

Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA. Such a mission would usually be a CIA effort, but the intelligence agency had opposed the idea because of the high risk involved in arming “insurgents” with powerful weapons that endanger civilian aircraft.

Hillary Clinton still wanted to proceed because, in part, as one of the diplomats said, she wanted “to overthrow Gaddafi on the cheap.”

This left Stevens in the position of having to clean up the scandalous enterprise when it became clear that the “insurgents” actually were al-Qaeda – indeed, in the view of one of the diplomats, the same group that attacked the consulate and ended up killing Stevens.

The former diplomat who spoke with PJ Media regarded the whole enterprise as totally amateurish and likened it to the Mike Nichols film Charlie Wilson’s War about a clueless congressman who supplies Stingers to the Afghan guerrillas. “It’s as if Hillary and the others just watched that movie and said ‘Hey, let’s do that!’” the diplomat said.
