Help! Conservative Angle needs your assistance.
Many people may not know it, but Facebook now throttles fan page’s posts. Regardless of the content within the page, only a small percentage of its followers will see their updates. A fraction as small as 1% to 2% is now very common. Even though we have almost 144k followers, at best, each post only reaches a couple thousand people and only a few hundred people at the worst. This totally defeats the purpose of having a large following.
Most of our posts have gone unnoticed by our fans due to throttling. Facebook has gone astray of what made them a great social network.
The solution: We are now asking our community to please follow us on Twitter, as well. They do not throttle posts. The whole concept of Twitter is, if you follow someone, you will see his or her posts, period.
We appreciate our community and will continue to use Facebook. However, we are being cut off at the knees with this new policy. If you enjoy our website and would like to keep up to date with our content, please add us to your Twitter feed.
