Just In Case You Are Interested, Obama Spent The Saturday Afternoon Golfing

[H/T Breitbart]: FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — President Barack Obama is hitting the greens at the private Florida golf club where “Caddyshack” was filmed.

Obama braved intermittent showers to play a round at the Grande Oaks Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a private, 18-hole course where Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and a rambunctious gopher got into all kinds of antics in the 1980 golf flick.

At the club, Obama was photographed shaking hands with former NBA star Alonso Mourning.

Obama Golfing Saturday

The White House hasn’t disclosed Obama’s golfing partners. Earlier this year, Obama caused a stir when he golfed at an exclusive Florida golf and yacht club with Tiger Woods.

Obama was in town for three Democratic fundraisers he headlined Friday night. He returns to Washington Saturday afternoon.

Barack Obama: Eyes Executive Action To Advance Climate Change As Second Term Implodes

Barack Hussein Obama and company have 3 years (maybe more if her highness is elected) left to dismantle the Constitution and implement a European flair of Socialism, or worse.  And Climate Change Plan is on deck.  What better way to advance the ‘ultimate goal’ than to use implied executive action for the ultimate fallacy?  Climate Change would cause utter chaos and rip the gut out of this country economically.  A perfect fit for a Saul Alinsky disciple.

Obama Climate Change[H/T Red Flag News]: (THE HILL) — President Obama has a chance to craft a second-term legacy on climate change even as the rest of his agenda runs aground in Congress.

Gun control legislation is dead; immigration reform is on life support; and reaching a fiscal deal with Republicans appears to be a long shot.

To make matters worse, what was supposed to be his signature first-term achievement — ObamaCare — is suffering from a disastrous rollout.

But there’s one thing that’s going right for Obama: Executive action on climate change is moving full-speed ahead at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

“He may be able to do more through climate change [rules] because the EPA has the authority,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) told The Hill on Thursday.

The most far-reaching piece of Obama’s climate plan is carbon emission standards for the nation’s fleet of existing power plants, by far the largest single source of industrial carbon emissions. The EPA is also writing standards for new plants.

“I think climate change, immigration reform are both sort of legacy issues,” Blumenthal said. “The measure of his presidency will be whether he has left changes in law and regulation, but also a heightened awareness, which I think he has been doing.”

Princeton University professor Julian Zelizer said the push on climate change through executive action could shape Obama’s legacy — but only to a point.

“There are limits to what it will mean to his presidency,” said Zelizer, who teaches history and public affairs.

One problem facing Obama is that some of the new EPA regulations might not be settled by the time he leaves office.

Sharia Creep Alert: Hamas-CAIR Goes After DHL in Kentucky to Impose Prayer Times

[H/T Freedom Outpost]: Muslim Brotherhood group Hamas-CAIR is filing suit against DHL to impose Muslim prayer times on the workplace in Kentucky.

Obama ShariaMuslim do not have to pray during the day. They can make it up before work and after work, which is what they do in Muslim countries. It is not necessary for a Muslim to pray at a certain time if necessity makes it impossible to do so. These actions are merely devices in which to impose Islam on non-believers. Prayer is not absolutely required a strict schedule, and Muslim prayers are commonly “made up” after work or school. This is true even in Muslim countries such as Iran. So why sue American companies to impose Muslim prayer on the secular workplace? To impose Islam on the public square.

The idea is to establish and enforce the principle that wherever Islamic law and American customs, practices, business policies, and laws conflict, the American side would have to give way.

The J. B. Swift meat packing plant in Greeley, Colorado, fired Muslim workers who turned violent and walked off their jobs when denied special break periods to end the Ramadan fast at the appointed time. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, however, sided with the Muslim workers and forced Swift to reinstate them. Ultimately, Swift added footbaths and bidets to its plant for the Muslim workers.

This is a systematic campaign against American business.

A group of Muslims in Colorado sued Wal-Mart, claiming that they were fired in order to provide jobs for local non-Muslims, and that they had been denied prayer breaks while on the job.

Hertz, Heinz, Disney et al have all been victimized by Islamic supremacist sharia demands.

The mosqueing of the workplace is meticulously documented in my book Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance.

CAIR-Cincinnati to Announce EEOC Complaints Against DHL for Firing 24 Muslim Workers Over Prayers

CINCINNATI, Nov. 7, 2013 — /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Later today, the Cincinnati chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Cincinnati) will hold a news conference to announce the filing of an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) civil rights complaint on behalf of 24 former workers at the DHL Global Mail facility in Hebron, Ky., who were fired for exercising their legally protected religious rights.

CAIR-Cincinnati says the DHL workers were dismissed from their jobs for asserting their right to reasonable accommodation for their religious practices, including daily prayer.

“CAIR has informed the company of its obligation under the law to reasonably accommodate these workers’ religious practices,” said CAIR-Cincinnati Executive Director Karen Dabdoub. “Instead of abiding by the law and doing the right thing, DHL has decided to stand behind their violation of these workers’ civil rights.”

Background:

On October 9, DHL Global Mail fired a group of 24 workers, some of whom had been working at DHL for up to 6 years, for refusing to accept a new workplace rule that violated their rights under the Kentucky Civil Rights Act and Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

In this case, the DHL workers had been using their break time to perform the evening (Maghrib) prayer. The company reportedly decided to eliminate flexible break times, thereby preventing the men and women from practicing their faith. When the workers asserted their legal rights, they were all fired.

Unemployment: 720k Americans Leave Labor Force in October

[H/T Breitbart]: On Friday, the Labor Department reported that 720,000 Americans left the labor force. This exodus pushed the labor force participation rate down to 62.8%, the lowest level since 1978. One out of three adults in neither working nor actively looking for work.

Unemployment for OctoberSome observers attribute the sharp drop to the shutdown and the furloughed federal workers. Even if that were the case, and it is unclear why these workers would be counted as not in the labor force, the number of Americans exiting is still significant. The total number of adults not in the labor force in October rose 935,000 to almost 92 million.

Overall, the jobs report showed employers adding 204,000 jobs in October. Almost half of these job gains were in the retail and hospitality sectors. The adult population, however, grew by 213,000, meaning that the better than expected jobs number fell short of keeping pace with population growth. The economy needs to add many more jobs to bring discouraged workers back into the labor force.

In spite of the gain in jobs, the overall number of Americans with a job fell by 735,000, to less than 144 million. Just 58.3% of adults were employed in October.

The headline number on the October jobs report was good. Gaining jobs is obviously better than shedding them. The continued sluggish pace of the economy, however, is causing ever more Americans to give up looking for work.
