Very interesting…Note this. A US State with zero Republicans in office – The State of Illinois. Think about this.

Some interesting data on the ‘state’ of Illinois… There are more people on welfare in Illinois than there are people working. Chicago pays the highest wages to teachers than anywhere else in the U.S. averaging $110,000/year. Their pensions average 80-90% of their income. Wow, are Illinois and Chicago great or what? Be sure to read till the end. I’ve never heard it explained better. Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago? Body count: In the last six months, 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago. 221 killed in Iraq; AND Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire US.

Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country. Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he is going to ‘fix’ Washington politics for us?

But you know what?

As long as they keep providing entitlements to the population of Chicago, nothing is going to change, except the state will go broke before the country does.

“Anybody who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian.”

That’s right! Only eight percent — the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big Corporations how to run their business?

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he’s never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it’s the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers?

They’ve spent most of their time in academia, Government and/or non-profit jobs or as “community organizers.” They should have been in an employment line.

Rush Limbaugh: ‘Obama and His Minions Are Recklessly Manipulating and Deceiving the Entire Private Health Insurance Industry’

[H/T TheBlaze]: During his radio show on Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh made the case that President Barack Obama and his administration’s handling of Obamacare goes “way beyond deceit.”

“Barack Obama and his minions are recklessly manipulating and deceiving the entire private health insurance industry,” he said. “What has happened and what is happening to the best health care system ever developed in the history of man is more than a shame. It is simply outrageous. And it is being done purposefully, and with a level of deceit that is apparent to anyone who wants to be open enough with themselves to admit it and see it.”

Limbaugh went on to argue that it’s not just the health insurance industry that has been duped, American citizens too have been “misled” about Obamacare.

“This goes beyond deceit, and all of it in the name of gamesmanship. All of it in the name of achieving political power over the Republicans and conservatives. And, again, without regard to consequence,” he explained. “Will there be lapses in health care coverage for people? Will some Americans be forced into bankruptcy? Will some be paying fines or go to jail? Will health insurance be contracted at all? Will the American taxpayer foot the bill for the destruction of the health insurance industry that started when the first dollar was spent on this quicksand website?”

“There has been stone-cold lying about readiness. Nobody — I don’t care who they are — nobody is this stupid,” he added.

Further, Obama misled the American people about being able to keep their own doctors and health care plans, Limbaugh said. He also “lied” about “having your premiums reeducated by $2,500.”

The radio host continued: “The level of lying willfully, knowingly lying, and now the best they can do is to say, ‘Well, Obama was so busy with the shutdown, he didn’t know.’ Well, that’s some president. That’s some CEO. That’s some chief executive. That’s some messiah.”

New Domestic Threat: Food Stamp Riots

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With 20 percent of all American households on food stamps, amounting to 23.1 million households and 47.6 million individuals in July, a little-known across-the-board cut in food-stamp benefits is scheduled to go into effect in November.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service, the benefit increase granted by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to help people adversely affected by the recession is scheduled to expire Nov. 1.

The USDA projects that the average monthly food stamp payment of approximately $272 per household will decline in November by $36 for a family of four.

Austerity riots in the EU

Will the resulting drop in benefits prompt riots?

For the past two years, austerity riots have swept across many countries in the European Union.

On Nov. 14, millions of workers went on strike across Europe to protest against cuts in government spending, as labor unions coordinated general strikes in Spain and Portugal, while calling for workers in Greece and Italy to walk out in sympathy with the protest.

The Guardian in London reported the European Day of Action and Solidarity was designed to send a message to government leaders urging them to abandon programs of increasing tax rates implemented while cuts were made in social welfare benefits.

The European Trade Union Confederation organized the European Day of Action and Solidarity with the slogan “For Jobs and Solidarity in Europe. No to Austerity.”

Food-stamp chaos in Louisiana

The U.S. recently experienced a fit of social disorder related to the government food-stamp system.

On Oct. 14, police were called in to maintain order at two Wal-Mart stores in Louisiana when a temporary power outage in the Electronic Benefits Transfer system, or EBT, removed spending limits on the cards of food-stamp recipients.

When Wal-Mart corporate headquarters allowed the card holders to buy food anyway, with no spending limit, word quickly spread, and a flood of shoppers in the Wal-mart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, La., stripped shelves bare.

Wal-Mart discovered shoppers with as little as cents on their food-stamp cards were attempting to steal as much as $700 worth of items.

When the outage was solved, overflowing grocery carts were abandoned in the aisles.

According to an ABC News report, the Louisiana Department of Children and Family services ruled Wal-Mart would be responsible for paying for unauthorized purchases because the retailer chose not to adhere to procedures limiting sales to $50 per cardholder during emergencies.

IRS paid out billions in bogus tax credits

The food-stamp program is not the only federal transfer payment program to the poor that could meet adverse public reaction if payments are reduced.

An internal IRS audit showed the IRS paid as much as $13.6 billion in bogus claims for the Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC, last year. Overpayments as large as $132.6 billion were paid out over the last decade, despite an executive order President Obama signed in 2009 instructing federal agencies to devise ways to reduce improper payments.

EITC payments, designed to transfer money to the working poor through the tax system, were found to account for between 21 percent and 25 percent of all EITC claims. Somewhere between $11.6 billion and $13.6 billion was misspent.

‘The IRS met with the Office of Management and Budget on July 12, 2013, to discuss proposed supplemental measures,” Pamela J. LaRue, the IRS’ chief financial officer explained. “We will continue to work with them to finalize these measures and to obtain written concurrence that the IRS is meeting reporting expectations.”

The IRS did not speculate on consequences should tighter enforcement procedures result in denied or reduced EITC payments to applicants, or whether collection efforts would be initiated to recover overpayments identified in previous years.

BREAKING: Lockdown After Shooting at Millington Tennessee Naval Base

[H/T: Fox News]  Update 4:55 pm EST: A Navy recruiter who had been relieved of duty at a Tennessee naval base Thursday afternoon opened fire outside the facility, injuring two soldiers and prompting a brief lockdown, MyFoxMemphis reported.

The suspect, who was not immediately identified, was relieved of duty at the Millington base, which is located in a Memphis suburb, the report said. The shooting occurred inside the National Guard Armory just outside the base after the suspect retrieved a small handgun from his car, local police told the station. He was promptly tackled by two soldiers and taken into custody by the Millington Police Department.

The victims’ injuries were not life-threatening, a law enforcement official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Associated Press. One victim was shot in the foot and the other suffered a gunshot to the leg, Stanback said. Both victims were identified as National Guard employees.

Naval Support Activity Mid-South has more than 7,500 military, civilian and contract personnel working on the base, according to the facility’s official website. The Millington base serves as a Navy human resources center. The shooting occurred about a month after 13 people were killed in the attack at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.

[H/T NBC New] The Navy base in Millington, Tenn., is in lockdown after three National Guardsmen got into a fight nearby, and the argument led to gunfire.

According to a U.S. military official, the men got into the altercation at the National Guard Armory in Millington and one pulled a small handgun. One guardsman was shot in the foot and the other in the leg, the official said.

The incident did not take place on the base, the Naval Support Activity Midsouth in Millington, but at the armory, which is on Navy property.

“This is not Navy related,” the military official told NBC News.

The wounds to the two victims were not life threatening, officials said.

The suspected shooter was in custody.

Millington is a city of some 10,000 people about 9 miles north of Memphis.

Obama Pushes Unisex Hats On Marines: ‘We Don’t Even Have Enough Funding to Buy Bullets’ But DoD will Spend $8 Million on ‘Girly’ Hats

[H/T NY Post]: A change to the Marine Corps’ uniform hats could take the hard-nosed Leathernecks from the Halls of Montezuma to the shops of Christopher Street.

Thanks to a plan by President Obama to create a “unisex” look for the Corps, officials are on the verge of swapping out the Marines’ iconic caps – known as “covers” — with a new version that some have derided as so “girly” that they would make the French blush.

“We don’t even have enough funding to buy bullets, and the DoD is pushing to spend $8 million on covers that look like women’s hats!” one senior Marine source fumed to The Post. “The Marines deserve better. It makes them look ridiculous.”

The thin new covers have a feminine line that some officials think would make them look just as good on female marines as on males — in keeping with the Obama directive.

“The Marine Corps is being ‘encouraged’ by DoD to standardize on a unisex/universal dress and service cap,” Marine brass noted in an internal memo obtained by The Post.

Fraudulent Fainting in the Rose Garden? This Video Shows It Was Most Likely a Staged Event

It is obvious that there are quite a few people involved in this latest fraud put out by the Whitehouse. Why did Obama think it was necessary to “catch” a fainting woman just when he said the words, “To free families from the pervasive fear that one illness….?”

He said it, and down she went. Well not actually down. She just weaved and wobbled a little and never quite fainted. And, consequently, Obama never actually caught her. He turned around and put his hand on her shoulder as if to steady her and turned back to the camera to make sure it got a clear shot of his “rescue” efforts.
