Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was heckled during an anti-Obamacare event in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday night. “You have health care, so can we!” was the chant from the hecklers.

Cruz didn’t criticize them or ignore them for that matter. Instead, the Texas Republican thanked the men for “sharing” their views and noted the importance of the First Amendment.

The men were eventually drowned out by the crowd’s chants of “USA!”

Cruz is one or two, maybe three of our best hopes for reclaiming America.

TSA to Purchase 3.5 Million Rounds of Ammunition – Still Don’t Think There is a Covert Strategy to Beef Up a Civilian Military Force?

There’s obviously a plan in place to reduce the military and beef up there civilian military force, at least that’s the way we see it and we are not alone.

Think about it.  Why would the TSA, a supposed ‘unarmed’ agency of our government, be purchasing ammunition in this fashion?  It’s happening folks, right under our noses.

The Transportation Security Administration is set to purchase 3.5 million .357 SIG caliber bullets, enough for its agents to fire 9,400 rounds a day, every day of the year.

According to a solicitation issued by the agency on August 16, the TSA is looking to buy “3,454,000 rounds of .347 SIG Caliber Training Ammunition.”

Although TSA agents in airports are currently unarmed, last month the TSA announced its plan to hire the use of a firing range within a 20 mile radius of LaGuardia Airport in order to train TSA workers.

The federal agency’s huge bullet buy could signal an expansion of its controversial Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) program, where teams of armed TSA officers patrol railroad stations, bus stations, ferries, car tunnels, ports, subways, truck weigh stations, rest areas, and special events.

VIPR teams currently conduct around 8,000 operations a year. As well as providing security at transport hubs, VIPR teams are now being used to keep tabs on fans at sporting events.

Earlier this month it was announced that VIPR agents would now be patting down Americans “outside the airport” by conducting stop and search shake downs at transport hubs and public events.

As Government Security News notes, the amount of ammunition being purchased, “means the TSA could fire off more than 9,400 rounds per day, every day of the year, to consume that entire quantity annually.”

Significant bullet purchases by the TSA are likely to fuel concerns that the federal government is arming itself to the teeth in preparation for some form of domestic unrest or other catastrophe, following the Department of Homeland Security’s commitment to purchase more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition over the course of the last 18 months.

Black Teens Charged with Murdering White Australian Baseball Player ‘For Fun’

WND reported: As the family of an Australian baseball player gunned down in Oklahoma mourns his death, police said today the college athlete was targeted by three teenagers who simply “wanted to see someone die.”

The suspects followed Chris Lane, 22, as he jogged alongside a road in Duncan, Okla., Friday afternoon, shot him in the back and left him to die on the side of the road, said Duncan Police Chief Danny Ford.

Lane attended East Central University in Ada, Okla., on a baseball scholarship. He was in town visiting his girlfriend.

“He went by a residence where these three boys were, they picked him as a target, they went out and got in a vehicle and followed him.”

While no one saw the actual shooting, Ford said several people heard a gunshot and “saw Lane stagger across the road, go to a kneeling position and collapse on the side of the road.” Witnesses also reported seeing a black car speeding away from the scene.

Surveillance video from several businesses captured images of the suspects’ vehicle. They were apprehended a few hours after the shooting when police received a phone call that “there were three juveniles at a house with guns and wanting to kill somebody.”

Ford said officers found three teens in the vehicle, which was parked at a church parking lot near the home.

After the teens were arrested, Ford said the driver, who is 17, told police they were all at the scene of the slaying and that the 16-year-old suspect pulled the trigger.

“He said the motive was, ‘We were going to kill somebody,’” Ford told Australian radio station 3AW. “They decided all three of them were going to kill somebody.”

The three teens, ages 15, 16 and 17, have been charged with first-degree murder. They are Chancey Luna, James Edwards and Michael Jones.

Their parents yesterday protested their innocence.

Jennifer Luna, whose son is suspected of firing the fatal shot, claimed her son was at home saying: “My son is not that way. My son is a good kid.”

Luna calls himself “Baby Drake” on his Facebook page. Though most of his information is private, several photos show the tattooed teen flashing gang signs and drinking beer. His page also displays a red, yellow and green flag with the words Black Power inside it.

There’s also a picture of Africa, with the same color scheme — traditionally associated with black liberation movements — that features an upraised, clenched black fist.

Luna’s mother is white.

The Facebook page belonging to accused killer James Edwards is less political, focusing more on the drugs, sex and violence that dominate contemporary hip-hop culture.

He refers to himself as “Lilbuggy,” but his screen name is “blackcoon44.” On Twitter, he went by @JamesAKABug.

Both Facebook and Twitter pages belonging to Edwards are filled with admiration for the rappers who glorify the thug life. The 17-year-old rapper Chief Keef from Chicago is often quoted: “A snitch nigga, that’s sh– I don’t like.”

Chief Keef is known for relentless references to guns, violence, drugs and sex in his popular music videos.

Edwards also made up his own lines: “With my niggas when it’s time to start taken life’s,” he posted on Twitter three days before the killing. And, “all the pussy niggas seem to pack a pistol.”

“I ain’t scared to die, nigga,” he retweeted last month.

Several of the tweets contained threats of violence: “YOU BETTA WATCH YO MOUTH NIGGA OR ILL MAKE A TRIP RIGHT NOW NIGGA ON DA SET ILL PUT HANDS ON YO ASS.”

Edwards’ Facebook and Twitter pages are filled with hundreds of pictures of him and his crew. Some pictures feature the young man holding wads of $100 bills. There’s a picture of a gun. And pictures of he and others flashing gang signs. You can also see Edwards posing in a mask and with gold chains.

His father told reporters his son was a good boy who was involved in sports.

At one point, the fresh-scrubbed Edwards even posed in what looked like a uniform at an ice-cream shop.  Read the rest of story at WND.

Obama has Blown Half Of Obamacare Legal Deadlines

Breitbart reported: The Obama Administration has missed 41 of 82 legally imposed implementation deadlines, according to a confidential Congressional Research Service memo.

The memo, obtained by Avik Roy of Forbes, reveals the litany of blown benchmarks:

As of May 31, 2013, when the CRS analysis was completed, the White House had yet to meet 9 of 12 deadlines from the first year after the Affordable Care Act was enacted. It failed to meet 22 of 53 deadlines in the second year; another 8 became moot after Congress did not appropriate funds to complete the assigned tasks. In year three, the administration missed 10 out of 17 deadlines. That’s a total of 41 out of 82 deadlines missed.

If you exclude the 9 deadlines that became moot because Congress never appropriated the funds to meet them, the Obama administration missed 41 out of 73 deadlines, or 56 percent.

Roy says the missed deadlines are a mix of bureaucratic busywork and more economically important benchmarks. Importantly, the CRS analysis did not include the new Obamacare delay on capping customer out-of-pocket expenses, a development that CNN’s John King says “could have a huge political impact.”

Roy says the delays, however, will not stop the Obama Administration from spending $1.9 trillion of taxpayers’ money to implement the law.

“Barring substantial Congressional action, that $1.9 trillion will still get spent, along with trillions more thereafter,” writes Roy. “Only new laws, not wishful thinking, will change that.”

Glenn Beck: Buck Sexton on the Three Islamic Concepts That Helped Shape the World as We Know It, And Are at Play Today

All one has to do is look around to see what Islam for what it is, a hateful ideology that uses religion for political gain.  National security adviser Buck Sexton appeared on TheBlaze TV Monday to discuss what he described as a “very specific version of Islamic jurisprudence” that partially explains the recent wave of attacks on Christians in Egypt.

TheBlaze reported: “It’s a concept called the dhimmi. The dhimmi is an agreement, it actually means ‘protection,’ and the those who are dhimmis are the protected. But they’re protected in sort of the sense of mafia protection money, meaning that they’re a secondary class of citizen, and this stretches back to the very beginning of the Islamic conquest from the life of the prophet Muhammad all the way up through the Ottoman Empire,” Sexton said.  “If you were a non-Muslim you fell under this separate legal category, where you were essentially treated like livestock. They would keep you alive, but you had no real rights. If they wanted to kill you, they could. If they wanted to rape your women, put you in slavery, take your property, they could.”

Sexton proceeded to point out that the Coptic community in Egypt is one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, and many of the areas we know think of as firmly “Islamic,” like Istanbul (Constantinople) were actually Christian long before the Islamic conquest.

So what happened?

“They were put under the status of dhimmitude, which essentially over time, either forced them to accept Islam or live in this legal area where they could be killed [or enslaved],” Sexton said.

And unlike under Roman law, religious minorities were also disarmed to ensure they could not defend themselves, Sexton said.  They also had to pay a “jizya,” which Beck described as an “I’m not a Muslim” tax.

There was also a concept called “fay” saying all property actually belongs to the umma, the Islamic community, and anyone outside that community can therefore have their property appropriated to wage war, Sexton added.

“These Christian communities, the Coptics being one of the most well-known, have been there [since] pre-Islamic times and they are on the verge of extermination,” Sexton warned.

Tea Party Groups to Run Ads Against GOP Lawmakers Skeptical of Defunding Obamacare

Breitbart reported: Three prominent conservative groups will make significant advertisement buys in August to pressure Republican senators and House Members in their states and districts to defund Obamacare.

Leaders of the Tea Party Patriots and ForAmerica will also go on an “Exempt America” tour across six states that will also target House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) in addition to buying ads against twelve Republican senators who have opposed the defunding of Obamacare or are on the fence. Tea Party Patriots co-founder Jenny Beth Martin and ForAmerica Chairman Brent Bozell will reportedly travel to Kentucky, Texas, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Virginia, in addition to Boehner’s district in Ohio.

Meanwhile, Heritage Action will purchase $550,000 worth of ads that will target 100 House Republicans to defund Obamacare. Their message will be simple: All Americans should be exempt from Obamacare—and if you fund it, you own it.

According to the Washington Post, ForAmerica and Tea Party Patriots will directly target Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (TX) and Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Mark Kirk (R-IL), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), Tom Coburn (R-OK), and Richard Burr (R-NC). These senators have indicated they oppose efforts to defund Obamacare, with Burr even calling the movement the “dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.”

ForAmerica has already targeted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), comparing him to a chicken for refusing to commit to fully defunding Obamacare in an advertisement. The group will run a similar ad against Graham, which can be been below:

ForAmerica and Tea Party Patriots will also take aim at Republicans who are on the fence—like Sens. Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Tim Scott (R-SC), Thad Cochran (R-MS), Pat Roberts (R-KS), and Pat Toomey (R-PA).

Senators like Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) have led the effort to defund Obamacare. They have said the House should pass a bill to fund the government except for the Affordable Care Act and then convince Americans that President Barack Obama and Democrats would rather shut down the government than extend the exemptions and carve outs they gave to corporations and special interests to all Americans. Congress must pass a resolution to fund the government by September 30.

Ted Cruz: Will Renounce Canadian Citizenship: ‘Nothing Against Canada, but I’m an American’

The Blaze reported: Less than 24 hours after the Dallas Morning News reported that he likely maintains dual citizenship to the U.S. and Canada, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) announced Monday evening that he will renounce his Canadian citizenship.

“Now the Dallas Morning News says that I may technically have dual citizenship. Assuming that is true, then sure, I will renounce any Canadian citizenship. Nothing against Canada, but I’m an American by birth and as a U.S. senator; I believe I should be only an American,” Cruz said in a statement.

Several legal experts apparently determined that Cruz remains a Canadian citizen because his mother gave birth to him in the country and he never renounced it. Cruz claims his mother told him he could claim his Canadian citizenship, though experts say the Texas Republican is a Canadian regardless.

Cruz also took a shot at the media for focusing on his birth certificate instead of the more important issues facing the country.

“Given the raft of stories today about my birth certificate, it must be a slow news day,” Cruz said.

There is some debate over whether he is eligible to serve as president of the United States due to the fact that he was foreign-born. “Most legal scholars say yes, but they also say it’s not 100 percent clear,” the Washington Post’s Aaron Blake reports.
