New Benghazi Details: Bombshell CNN Reports ‘Unprecedented’ Effort Underway to Keep Secrets From Leaking

The Blaze reports: The CIA is polygraphing its operatives on a regular basis in an “unprecedented” effort to prevent Benghazi secrets from leaking out, CNN’s Drew Griffin is reporting, citing unnamed inside sources.

“Since January, some CIA operatives involved in the agency’s missions in Libya, have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph examinations, according to a source with deep inside knowledge of the agency’s workings,” the bombshell report reveals. “The goal of the questioning, according to sources, is to find out if anyone is talking to the media or Congress.”

It is being described as pure intimidation, with the threat that any unauthorized CIA employee who leaks information could face the end of his or her career.

In exclusive communications obtained by CNN, one insider writes, “You don’t jeopardize yourself, you jeopardize your family as well.”

Another says, “You have no idea the amount of pressure being brought to bear on anyone with knowledge of this operation.”

The CIA responded to CNN’s report in a statement, claiming it “enabled all officers involved in Benghazi the opportunity to meet with Congress,” according to Jake Tapper.

It has also been revealed that as many 35 Americans were in Benghazi on the night of the deadly terror attack, CNN reports, citing anonymous inside sources. As many as seven were wounded and 21 Americans were reportedly working in the building known as the CIA annex.

Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) told CNN that the revelations represent “a form of a cover-up.”

“We should have the people who were on the scene come in, testify under oath, do it publicly, and lay it out. And there really isn’t any national security issue involved with regards to that,” the lawmaker said.

There have been reports and rumors about the U.S. government possibly being involved in the transfer of weapons out of Libya, through Turkey and into the hands of the Syrian rebels. The theory has been analyzed thoroughly on TheBlaze and TheBlaze TV, but many questions remain.

According to the CNN report, the CIA and the State Department were the two U.S. agencies operating in Benghazi. The State Department has denied being involved in any transfer of weapons to other countries, though it clearly stated they “can’t speak for any other agencies.”

The CIA, on the other hand, would not say if they were involved in any transfer of weapons to other nations.

Breitbart reports: Mr. Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants himself, Senator John McCain, recently interviewed with the liberal New Republic, where he reiterated his disdain for the new crop of “wacko bird” conservative U.S. Senators, by referring to them as isolationists.

Q: Do you think this wing has changed the comity in the Senate? There were the attacks on Hagel. Do these things concern you?

McCain: Oh yeah. It’s of concern. But it’s important for me to be respectful. After I called them wacko birds, I apologized. I try and be respectful but also go out there and debate them every chance I get. Small example: For four years, Harry Reid—and I beat him up regularly—wouldn’t bring a budget to the Senate. This year, we brought one, stayed up all night.

We were so proud, we passed a budget resolution—most of it nonsense—but guess what? Now we have the same group who are blocking going to conference. The same group sometimes doesn’t want to take up a bill and at other times blocks a bill because they can’t get all the amendments they want.

McCain loves Rubio for backing his illegal immigration play, but just a few months ago, he bashed Rubio as being one of those isolationist ‘Wacko Birds.’

We brought a budget to this floor, we spent many, many hours on all kinds of amendments. Now we can’t go to conference unless we agree not to raise the debt limit. Does my colleague from Florida believe that the House of Representatives, dominated by Republicans, are going to raise the debt limit?

Does my colleague from Florida believe that any conferees that are appointed, we have to place certain restrictions on those conferees that would apply to the other body as well? I don’t think so, I don’t think that’s the way that this body is suppose to function.

“We are in a gridlock, here we are four years with a budget, we finally get a budget, we stay up all night, and because somebody doesn’t want to raise the debt limit, we are not going to go to conference. That’s not how this body should function. The American people deserve better, they deserve a budget. Every family in the world has to live on a budget, and here we are objecting because there is a concern about raising the debt limit.”-Sen. John McCain

Michelle Malkin: ‘He’s (Al Sharpton) Been one of the Worst Purveyors of Racial Divisiveness and Hate in My Lifetime’

The Blaze reports: Conservative firebrand Michelle Malkin went off on Al Sharpton on Wednesday’s “Hannity,” dismissing him as a “race charlatan” and “demagogue” who is known only for spreading “racial divisiveness and hate.”

“Al Sharpton has blood on his hands,” Malkin began. “He’s ruined lives. He’s been one of the worst purveyors of racial divisiveness and hate in my lifetime. How can you expect an ounce of honor from a man who doesn’t have it?”

She went on to call Sharpton a “shakedown artist” who hates “cops,” “whites,” “Jews” and “who has stoked his rent-a-mob to murder Yankel Rosenbaum, to destroy the life of Steven Pagones when he lied about Tawana Brawley.”

Malkin also warned conservatives not to get into the “snake pit” and attempt to have an honest discussion about race with people like Sharpton. She said conservatives have been far too “nice” thus far.

“You can’t with somebody who is a demagogue and is evil,” she added.

Later in the program, host Sean Hannity played a compilation of Sharpton’s most vitriolic and hateful moments, which Malkin described as “chilling.”

“In an era where we are supposed to take Martin Luther King’s words to heart about judging people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin, all this man has done is enrich himself by fomenting more racial division,” Malkin reacted.

She added that it’s amazing Sharpton, a “race charlatan,” thinks he “can lose weight, put pancake makeup on, and all of a sudden he’s respectable.”
